- Install ClockWorkMod recovery on your Galaxy S2 Skyrocket I727, you can do it by download and install ROM manager from android market and flash ClockWorkMod recovery. You might have to select Samsung T-Mobile GalaxyS2 from the version list.
- Download Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip (don't extract it).
- Copy Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip to sd card.
- Boot into recovery mode either by choosing Reboot into Recovery in ROM manager app or by turning off your Skyrocket I727 and then press and hold volume up + volume down + power button until its entering recovery mode.
- Select install zip from sdcard in recovery menu and then select Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip.
- Wait until finish.
- Select reboot system now.
- Congratulations, now your Galaxy SII Skyrocket I727 running ICS 4.0.3 has been rooted.

How to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 to Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 I9100XWLP2
Follow below instructions to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 to Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 :

- First make backup of contact, sms, apps, etc
- Prepare USB cable, Fully charged i9100
- Download Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 I9100XWLP2 Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 Russia firmware update and extract it
- Download Odin3 v1.85 and u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit from here
- If you have not install Samsung USB drivers yet, download here or mirror and then install it.
- Turn off the phone
- Put your Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 into download mode by pressing and holding Volume down + HOME + Power button until android picture appear on phone screen's.

- Your Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 should be in downloading mode now, (Android picture with Downloading... text appear on the phone)
- Connect Galaxy S2 to pc by USB cable, make sure driver is installed
- Open Odin3 v1.85.exe
- Make sure your i9100 detected by odin (ID:COM should be yellow on odin)

- Here is the files that should be selected on odin :
PIT : u1_02_20110310_emmc_EXT4.pit
PDA : I9100XWLP2_I9100OXELP4_I9100XXLPQ_HOME.tar.md5
- Press Start button then upgrading Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 to Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 I9100XWLP2 process will be started
- Wait until finish and odin show PASS!
- Congratulations, you have Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 on your Samsung Galaxy S II GT-I9100 now
- Its recomended to wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition in recovery mode by pressing and holding Volume Up + HOME + Power button until recovery screen shown up while phone in off state

How to do a screen capture on Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 running Ice Cream Sandwich ICS
Many screen capture apps avaliable in the android market, but mostly need root / superuser access and off course the screen capture apps will consume memory and space. In fact, we could perform a screen capture on Samsung i9100 without any apps or superuser / root access, just follow below instructions :

- Go to apps or any screen that you want to capture, for example you want to capture system informations on your Samsung Galaxy S II i9100, then you have to go to Settings->About phone, then scroll down so we can see Build number
- Then to take screenshot / screen capture you need to press Volume Down + Power button for about 1 seconds until you heard a shutter sound
