How to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 to leaked Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 I727UCALC4

Follow below instructions to upgrade Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 to Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 :

  • First make backup of contact, sms, apps, etc

  • Prepare USB cable, Fully charged SGH-I727

  • Download Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 I727UCALC4 ICS 4.0.3 Leaked Firmware Update(one click odin) and extract it

  • If you have not install Samsung USB drivers yet, download here or mirror and then install it.

  • Double-click on the i727ucalc4-oneclick.exe file to run Odin, which will be used to flash the firmware on your phone.

  • Now, boot into download mode at the handset. To do this, turn off your phone. Plug in your USB cable to the pc, but not to the phone. After that, hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons on the phone, plug in the USB cable to the phone while holding those buttons. Once the Download mode screen shows up, release the buttons.

  • Odin software screen will show “Added!!” in the message box below when the phone is connected to the pc. If it does not, make sure you have the proper drivers installed on the pc.

  • Click Start button then upgrading Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 to leaked Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 I727UCALC4 process will be started.

  • Wait until finish and odin show PASS!

  • Congratulations, you have Ice Cream Sandwich ICS 4.0.3 on your Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727 now

  • Its recomended to wipe data/factory reset and wipe cache partition in recovery mode

How to do a factory reset and wipe cache partition in Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570


  • Press and hold Home button and then press power on

  •   There will be choices shown




  • reboot system now

  • apply update from sdcard

  • wipe data/factory reset

  • wipe cache partition

  • test redbend fota[FS]




  • Navigation button





  • Volume Down = move down.

  • Volume Up = move up.

  • Home Button = choose the menu (OK).

  • Back Key = back.




  • Select wipe data/factory reset, press Home button and then select yes -- delete all

  • Select wipe cache partition and then press Home button

  • Select reboot system now and then press Home button


Your Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 will be rebooted and will be factory resetted. Make sure to do a backup before doing a factory reset / wipe cache partition.
