How to upgrade HTC Desire A8181 to Gingerbread 2.3.3

Follow below instructions to upgrade HTC Desire A8181 to Gingerbread 2.3.3 :

• Download HTC_Desire_Gingerbread_2.3.3_Update_www.androidaddicted.com.rar from here or mirror and then extract it


• If you haven't installed HTC driver, download it here or mirror and install it


• Connect HTC Desire A8181 to PC using USB cable (install driver if asked)


• Open RUU_HTC Desire Android 2.3 Upgrade (Gingerbread).exe


• Click Next, thick "I understand the caution bla..bla..bla.." then click Next


• Thick "I have completed the steps indicated above" then click Next


• Click Update button


• You will see phone ROM version and will be updated to ROM file version, click Next, and Click Next once more


• ROM upgrading process will be started

• Wait until  finished
