How to do a screen capture on Samsung Galaxy S II i9100 running Ice Cream Sandwich ICS

Many screen capture apps avaliable in the android market, but mostly need root / superuser access and off course the screen capture apps will consume memory and space. In fact, we could perform a screen capture on Samsung i9100 without any apps or superuser / root access, just follow below instructions :

  • Go to apps or any screen that you want to capture, for example you want to capture system informations on your Samsung Galaxy S II i9100, then you have to go to Settings->About phone, then scroll down so we can see Build number

  • Then to take screenshot / screen capture you need to press Volume Down + Power button for about 1 seconds until you heard a shutter sound
