How to root Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510 running Gingerbread 2.3.6

If you have upgrade your Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510 to Gingerbread 2.3.6, you might want to root it. Just follow below instructions:

  • Download gingerbred-2.3.6-root.zip from here or mirror

  • Put gingerbred-2.3.6-root.zip to root folder of sdcard

  • Power off your Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510 and insert sdcard

  • Enter Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510 to a recovery mode by pressing and holding Power + T button (phone will reboot 2-3 times, just keep the buttons pressed until recovery mode shown)

  • Use Volume button to navigate and select "apply update from sdcard " and then press HOME button

  •  After that, you'll have to choose gingerbred-2.3.6-root.zip from the option that shown (use Volume button to navigate) and then press HOME button to select it

  • Wait until the screen show Install from SD card complete and select Reboot Now option and then press HOME button to restart your phone

  • Congratulations, your Samsung Galaxy Pro GT-B7510 running Gingerbread 2.3.6 has succesfully rooted, you you can check it by using terminal emulator and run su command.
